Every Couragem piece is carefully packed in our Lisbon atelier and shipped securely, so it arrives in perfect condition.
Production time
Every piece is made by hand. Personalised and made-to-order items take 3 to 5 working days to produce, depending on the quantity. For made-to-measure pieces, we give you the lead time when you order.
Delivery times and shipping rates
- Portugal: €5.20 (2 to 5 working days) | Express, next working day: €7.90 | Free over €100
- Spain: €7.50 (3 to 5 working days) | Express, 1 to 2 working days: €9.50 | Free over €100
- Rest of Europe: €14.00 (3 to 7 working days) | Express, 3 to 4 working days: €26.00 | Free over €120
- Canada: €26.00 (6 to 12 working days). Customs charges may apply on delivery.
Delivery times start from dispatch and are added to the production time. We always ship by registered post, and you’ll receive an email with your tracking number as soon as your order leaves the atelier.
Collection from the atelier
At checkout, you can choose to collect your order from our atelier at Rua Joaquim António de Aguiar, 45B, Lisbon, with no shipping charge. We’ll let you know when it’s ready, and collection is by appointment on +351 919 614 122.
Returns and exchanges
We want you to be happy with your purchase. For items that are not personalised, you have 14 days from receipt to return or exchange them.
About genuine leather
We work only with genuine leather. Variations in texture and tone and small natural marks are not defects: they are features of the material. Every piece is unique, and these details are part of the natural beauty of leather.

How to return or exchange

2. Send the item to the address we give you
3. We process exchanges within 5 to 7 working days of receipt. If you prefer a refund, we make it within 14 days
Note: return shipping costs are paid by the customer, except in the case of a defect or an error on our part.
Personalised items
Personalised and made-to-order items cannot be returned or exchanged, except in the case of a manufacturing defect or an error on our part. All items have the 3-year legal guarantee.
