Technique and Origin
Hot foil stamping is a traditional technique that uses heat and pressure to transfer metallic foil to leather. Each ring is handcrafted in Portugal using a sustainable process that respects the environment. The result is a unique piece that combines Portuguese artisan tradition with a classic and original finish.
How to Order
Step 1: Choose the leather colour
Select from 17 available colours (Natural, Honey, Brown, Red, Blue, Lavender, Black, Green, Olive, Bordeaux, Petrol Blue, Light Grey, Yellow, Turquoise, Tile, Hot Pink, Flag Green).
Step 2: Choose the hot foil stamping colour
Indicate if you prefer gold (golden) or silver (silver-plated) foil.
Step 3: Indicate personalization
In the personalization field, write the names or initials (up to 14 characters per ring).
Step 4: Add to cart
Click "Add to cart".
Step 5: Add more rings
You can repeat the steps to add rings with different colours or personalizations.
Step 6: For multiple identical rings
If you have multiple rings of the same colour and finish, separate personalizations with commas (e.g., Maria, João, Ana).
Step 7: Finalize the order
The progressive discount is automatically applied for orders of 6 units or more.
Each ring is handcrafted in genuine vegetable-tanned leather with artisan-applied hot foil stamping – a Portuguese handmade piece that celebrates the tradition of hot stamping with classic elegance.
Production Time
Most Couragem pieces are produced individually, on request, with exclusive personalisation for each customer. Because of this, production time is added on top of the shipping time.
The total estimated timeframe is 7 to 14 business days — production included — for mainland Portugal. For the Islands and Europe, the indicated shipping times are added.
During festive periods, such as Christmas or Easter, slight delays may occur. We recommend placing your order well in advance.
Some products are available for immediate dispatch and are marked as such on the page. These are the exception, not the rule.

Return and exchange policy
We accept exchanges within 14 days of receiving your order, provided the item is in perfect condition and shows no signs of use.
Personalised items — with engraving, monogram or any other personalisation — are not eligible for exchange or return, given their unique, made-to-order nature.
To start the process, email hello@couragem.com with your order number and the reason for the request. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
Shipping
Shipments are made via CTT Express, with estimated delivery in 3 business days for mainland Portugal and up to 12 business days for the Islands.
For shipments to Europe, the timeframe varies by destination country.
Shipping is free on orders of 100€ or more, both for Portugal and Europe.
