A universal bag strap in hand-braided brown leather, with a clasp at each end. Clip it onto your bag's rings to wear it on the shoulder or crossbody — or give a bag you already own a new strap.

Made at the Couragem atelier in Lisbon from full-grain leather. The leather deepens in colour and gains a soft sheen with use, and natural marks are part of every piece.

Two lengths

Shoulder — 60 cm: the bag sits close to the body, under the arm.
Crossbody — 120 cm: wear it across the chest or over one shoulder, with the bag at hip height.

Clasps

Choose the finish that matches your bag's hardware: gold, antique gold or silver.

FAQ

Will it fit any bag?
It fits bags with rings, D-rings or any other hardware the clasp can clip onto. Not sure? Send a photo of your bag to hello@couragem.com.

Which length should I choose?
60 cm to wear on the shoulder, 120 cm to wear across the body. If you'd like both options for the same bag, you can get both.

How do I care for the leather?
Wipe with a dry cloth and keep it away from water. Every now and then, a leather conditioner keeps it supple.

Each piece is made in the atelier after you order, with the personalisation you choose.

Production: 3 to 5 working days. Delivery time is then added, depending on the country (see Shipping).

Some pieces are ready to ship and are marked as such on the page.

Mainland Portugal: 2 to 5 working days with CTT Registered, or next working day with CTT Express. Islands: up to 12 working days.

Spain: 1 to 5 working days. Rest of Europe: 3 to 7 working days.

Free shipping over €100 in Portugal and Spain, and over €120 in the rest of Europe.

Personalised and made-to-order pieces cannot be exchanged or returned, except in the case of a manufacturing defect. Natural marks in the leather are not defects: they are what make each piece unique.

Ready-to-ship pieces: we accept exchanges within 14 days of delivery, with the piece in perfect condition and unused. Write to hello@couragem.com with your order number. Return shipping is paid by the customer.
